Freddie J. Duncan
Obituary
Freddie J. Duncan passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 79.
Freddie was born on July 7, 1943, the son of Freddie Thomas Duncan and Betty Jo Morrison Duncan. He served in Korea in the Army 1st Cavalry. He retired from Weyerhaeuser Paper Company after 28 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish and garden; but hated trees. As his friends would say, "He would fight a bear but was scared of trees."
He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter JoAnn Duncan and granddaughter "The Baby".
He is survived by his wife of 22 years Faye Duncan, Ray McDaniel, Garret and Krystal McDaniel, Denise and Josh Davis, Noah McDaniel, Dillon McDaniel Stephanie and Josh Cooper, Cheryl Jones and numerous great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg, MS. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Learned, MS.
