Freddie Lee Jones

Freddie Lee Jones of Vicksburg passed away Monday, July 29, 2024, at the age of 85. He was born in Eupora, MS to Reginald and Eunice Bailey Jones on February 27, 1939.

Freddie was a hardworking man who loved his family and his church. He also loved his grandchildren, grand-cat, and grand-dog. He was married 49 years to the love of his life Betty Ann Jones. Freddie was an avid watcher of westerns, enjoyed woodworking, and knife collecting.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Ann Jones; parents, Reginald and Eunice Bailey Jones; infant son, Allan Keith Jones; brothers, Bob McCain and Jimmy Jones; and sister, Sue Salley.

He is survived by his sons, Brian Jones (Robin) and Michael Jones (Laura); grandchildren, Patrick Jones, Sarah Beth Phelps (Cole), Harper Arnold (Amye), Taylor Arnold (Mary Elliott); great-grandchildren, Walker Lee Phelps and Emma Louise Phelps.

A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Glenwood Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Parker presiding. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service.Interment will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers: Patrick Jones, Harper Arnold, Taylor Arnold, Cole Phelps, Keith Stennet, and Joey Nash.
