George Martel "Marty" Fields

George Martel “Marty” Fields was born March 9, 1955, and passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 31, 2021, at Jacquith Nursing Home, Pearl, Mississippi. He is now made whole and no longer suffers. Marty was preceded in death by his loving mother and father, George and Grace Fields, and brother Phil Ray Fields.

He is survived by his sisters, Sheree Clanton, Lorraine Ghrigsby and Rebecca Logue, and brothers, Norman Fields and Paul Fields. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and burial will be held at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home. Special thanks to Ellisville State School, Jacquith Nursing Home and Douglas Huskey for their love and support throughout the years, especially today.

Pallbearers will be Doug Huskey, Jay Ghrigsby, Wesley Bailess, Kelda Bailess, Dailon Huskey and Mike Fields.
