Gerry Lane McCormick, Sr.

Gerry Lane McCormick, Sr. passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020. He was 72 years old. 

Gerry was born on November 27, 1947 to Annie Laura Holloway McCormick and James Arthur McCormick in Laran, Louisiana. He loved hunting and fishing and he loved his family. 

He is preceded in death by his son, Gerry McCormick, Jr.; and brothers, James Herbert, J.D., and Donald McCormick; sisters, Elsie, Nelda, Brenda; grandchildren, Chelsea and Tyler Ledford.

He is survived by his son, Larry McCormick; daughter, Cherilyn McCurdy; sisters, Bertha Nicholson, Annie Mae Vickers, and Jill Waldrop; grandchildren, Dustin, Ashley, Austin, Victoria, Kerry, Autumn, Marcus, and Logan; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. 

A visitation will be at 10 AM Saturday, October, 10, 2020 at Glenwood Funeral Home.

A service will follow at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg, Ms with Rev. Jimmy Barmore officiating. 

Pallbearers will be Logan McCormick, Austin McCormick, Dustin Burns, Eric Castle, Jason Wells, and Kenny McCurdy.
