Harry Reed Sampley

Harry R. Sampley of Vicksburg, Mississippi passed away at Promise Hospital on November 13, 2020. He was 61 years old.

Harry was an avid outdoorsman, loved people, and animals. He was a pipefitter as well as a truck driver and was also a big contributor to humane societies. 

Harry is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lola Sampley; and sister, Betty Ann Sampley; his mother, Betty Louise Leggett Sampley Leffer; three half-brothers; three half-sisters; nephew, Justin Sanford; grand-niece, Victoria Sanford; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harry G. Sampley, Jr.; grandfathers, William J. Leggett and Harry G. Sampley, Sr.; and grandmothers, Marjorie P. Gustafson and Myrrh Leggett.

A memorial service will be at a later date.
