Helen Kelly Arnold

Mrs. Helen Kelly Arnold passed away Monday, March 2, 2020. She was 93 years old.

Mrs. Arnold was born May 30, 1926 in Warren County, MS and reared in Columbus, MS. She was the daughter of the late Farmer and Louise Kelly.

After High School, she attended and graduated from MSCW. She met and married James (Pat) Arnold settling in Vicksburg for 71 years until the time of his death this past July.

A longtime active member of the First Baptist Church of Vicksburg and participated in local school PTAs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Pat) Arnold, and her sister, Betty Nissler of Bay Minette, AL.

Survived by her four children: Beth Pharr (Mike) of Hernando, MS, James K. Arnold (Missy) of Vicksburg, MS, Robert P. Arnold (Vicki) of Jackson, MS, and Patricia Newman (Michael) of Starkville, MS, five grandchildren, one step grandson, and five great grandchildren.

A celebration visitation will be held Friday, March 6, 2020, at Glenwood Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
