Helen Hazzlerigg died at her home on January 30, 2021. She was 83.

Helen was a native of Vicksburg, MS. She is the daughter of John W. and Ethel Ross Mackey.

She is preceded in death by her brothers; Bobby Smith and Joseph Mackey, Johnny Mackey, and A.B. "Jackie" Mackey, her sisters; Catherine Austin, Rosa Belle Lowery, Vivian Pace, Lillian White and Nancy Smiley, her son, Thomas Hazzlerigg, and her daughter, Debra Carley; grandaughter Angie Carley.

She is survived by her son, Henry Hazzlerigg, her daughter, Kathy Thrash, her sister, Josie Smiley Perez, niece, Connie Thomas, and her grandchildren; Terri Darling Crowder, Jeromy Paul Watts, Aaron Christopher Watts, Clay Thrash and Andrea Anglin.
