Henry “Hank” Lee Ozburn of De Kalb, Texas was promoted to Glory Friday, April 28, 2023, at a Mount Pleasant hospital. He was 86.
Hank was born September 17, 1936, in Saint Joseph, Louisiana to Allen T. And Sadie Lee Johnston Ozburn. He was a retired diesel mechanic and gravel pit supervisor. Hank was an avid bowling fan and enjoyed kayaking and catfishing on the Mississippi River. He and his wife, Pat lived in Vicksburg, Mississippi for fifty-three years before moving to Briar Ridge Farm, De Kalb, Texas in the summer of 2022 to live with Ann Earnest and John Gage. This Godly man loved deeply and was deeply loved by a large family and many friends and animals.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Chester Ozburn; and one son, Billy Ozburn.
His earthly presence will be greatly missed by his wife of fifty-three years, Pat Ozburn; one daughter, Angelia Ferguson; one son, Michael Ozburn; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation carried out by Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.
Hank’s loving spirit lives on in each heart he touched. We were blessed to have known him. See you in heaven, Boo Bear.
