James Curtis Ashley

Funeral services for James C. Ashley, 55, will be Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Tallulah, with visitation one hour before the service, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

James was born July 27, 1963 in Fort Knox, Kentucky. He attended Thomastown School and he graduated valedictorian of his class. He attended NLU and received a bachelors degree in accounting. He passed away at his home after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include his parents, Dean and Dot Ashley, sister, Balinda Whitehead (Steve), brother, Shane Ross (Christine), nephews, Jonathan W. Whitley, Jarret S. Whitley (Jori), Justin Ross, and Robert Ross, nieces, Elizabeth Ross, Maggie Ross, and Mikayla Ross, and several great nephews and niece.
