James Everett Bryant

James Everett Bryant passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 76.

He was born in Vicksburg, MS on March 17, 1949, the son of Herman Kelly Bryant, Sr. and Lydia Gilbert Bryant.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Stanley David Bryant and daughter Jessie Dean Bryant.

He is survived by his son, Ben Bryant (Morgan) of Jackson, daughters Claiborne Cooksey (Kurt) of Vicksburg and Mercedes Warwick of Chattanooga, grandchildren Helen Smith, Edward Bryant, June Cooksey and Etta Clai Cooksey, and brother Kelly Bryant, Jr. (Sue) of Vicksburg.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Glenwood Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Vicksburg-Warren Humane Society or Paws Rescue.
