James Aaron Chandler passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021. He was 90 years old.
James Chandler adored his family and loved them fiercely. Playing tricks and games with his grandchildren was his favorite past time. He loved to travel and see the mountains. He liked to relax by sitting at home on his porch listening to gospel music watching the sun go down. He took great joy in tending his pond, feeding his catfish, and growing his tomatoes. He was a skilled fisherman, hunter, electrician, welder and mechanic. He served as a marine and felt loyalty and service was admirable and the world would be a much better place if everyone felt the same. He loved attending his local church and was involved while he was able. James Chandler loved Jesus and his favorite song was Amazing Grace. He attended his grandchildren’s ballgames, programs, and performances as much as he could. He will be greatly missed.
