James Ernest Emfinger

James Ernest Emfinger passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in Clinton, MS. He was 69 years old.

James was born in Vicksburg, MS on October 27, 1955, to the late Ernest Alexander Emfinger and Daisy Bell Price Emfinger. James worked as a Millwright. He was a member of the Local 303 Carpenters Union. James loved motorcycles, coon hunting and fishing he also loved to cut firewood and sit beside a fire. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Sally Hambright, Patricia Emfinger, Ernestine Hall, Maggie Hedrick, and Debbie Floyd.

He is survived by his son James Emfinger, II, daughter Adriean Lauren Ables, sister Janet Prescott, and his grandchildren Eastman Brooks Ables and Aydabelle Mae Ables.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Glenwood Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Roger Cresswell officiating.
