James G. Robertson

James G. Robertson, age 95, of Vicksburg, MS, passed away on August 6, 2022.

James was born on May 1, 1927, the son of the late Alonzo Lee Robertson and Lessie Mae James Robertson.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Elise Ethridge Robertson and sons Bryant and Keith Robertson.

He retired from the railroad after 30 years of services. His avid hobby was golf and he played almost every day since his retirement.  He was a member of First Baptist Church.

He is survived by one son, David (Marsha) Robertson of Long Beach, MS, one grandson Justin (Keely) Robertson and two granddaughters, Kim (Casey) Johnston of Long Beach, MS and Karla (Cory) Wisner of Baton Rouge. He had seven wonderful great-grandchildren. He also leaves several nephews, nieces and close friends that he loved and enjoyed spending time and talking with.

The family wants to thank all our friends and family who took time to call and visit him, especially after Elise was gone.
