James Wesley McGee

Funeral services for Mr. James Wesley McGee, age 46, will be held Friday, April 30, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah, Louisiana, with Bro. Barkley Tullos officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow the funeral service at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, Louisiana.

Wesley passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at his home in Newellton. He was born June 28, 1974, in Newellton to Robert Earl Clifton “Cuz” and Ruby LaFerne Thompson McGee. He lived his whole life in Newellton and worked with his father in the trucking business. He and his wife, Debby Melissa Grey McGee, were together for 26 years, and they had three children. Wesley loved his children, especially his baby girl. He also loved hunting and fishing.

Wesley is preceded in death by his mother, Ferne McGee, and his brother, Robert Earl Clifton McGee, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Debby; three children, Devin McGee and wife, Ashley, Dawson McGee, and Desley McGee; sisters, Ann Boone and Emmy McGee; and his father, "Cuz" McGee.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Powell, John John Thompson, Mancel Grey, Willie Joe Ezell, Ray Collins, and Randy Grey.
