James Brian Pierce

It is with great sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of James Brian Pierce, better known as Brian, on May 11, 2026, at the age of 61. He departed from this world peacefully with a family member by his side.
Brian was born on March 9,1965, in Jackson, Mississippi, to his parents James Randolph Pierce and Mary Katherine Hynum Pierce. During his time here on Earth, he enjoyed hobbies such as hunting, fishing, shooting pool and watching Nascar. He was proceeded in death by his father, James Randolph Pierce, niece, Ashley Leighann Pierce, and one granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife, Tjajuan(TJ) Yvette Westmoreland Pierce; daughters, Jamie Katherine Barnes (Husband), Lacey Breanne Pierce, and Cassie Ryane Smith (Husband); and brothers, Tracey Scott Pierce (Debra), Jeffery Dwayne Pierce (April), and Tommy Allen Meridith (Crissy). He also survived by 4 grandchildren and several nieces.
Visitation will be held May 22, 2026, from 1-2 at Solid Rock Church, 4945 US-61 N, Vicksburg, MS, with memorial to follow. Memorial services will be officiated by Brother Bill Talbert.
