Jeanette Smith

Jeanette Smith passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 83.

Jeanette was born January 29, 1941, the daughter of the late William F. Vance and Hattie Willis Vance. She spent the vast majority of her career at multiple banks beginning at First National Bank and ultimately retiring from River Hills Bank. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and joke.  She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard Smith, Sr., and siblings, Lucille Abbygale Minchew, William F. Vance, Jr. and Dorothy Vance.

She is survived by her son Ricky Smith. (Lisa) and granddaughter Zoey Smith.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Glenwood Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
