Jeff Winters

James Jeffrey Winters, of Delta City, passed away September 24, 2025, at the age of 50. He was born in Shelby, MS to James Thomas Winters and Evelyn Lindsey on January 31, 1975.

James (fondly known as Jeff) loved the Lord with all his heart. He loved and cared dearly for his wife and precious daughters. He enjoyed playing the drums on the family worship team. Fedex was more than a job for Jeff, it was a ministry. He loved and cared for his co-workers and customers. He brought life and light to every room he walked in. He welcomed everyone and treated them like they were his family. Jeff enjoyed fishing and hunting and was an avid Ole Miss Rebels fan. Hotty Toddy!

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas Winters and Evelyn Lindsey.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Beranda Woods Winters; daughters, Hannah Kaylee Winters, Sarah Abigail Winters, and Mary Elizabeth Winters; sisters Melissa Kay Hodge (Chris), Tina Blessitt Hood, and Jessica Marie Ellis (Winters), and a host of nieces and nephews.
