Jennie Lee Embry

Jennie Lee Embry passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. She was 83 years old. She was born on December 18, 1941, to Tommie Ray and Inez Chapman Ray. She was a member of Cain Ridge Methodist Church. She was oversaw the Cain Ridge Cemetery for many years. She was a retired mail carrier for the US Postal Service. She enjoyed riding the John Deere Gator with Daisy the German Sheperd and looking at the cattle.  She loved keeping up with the grandchildren and watching them play sports. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Embry; parents, Tommie Ray and Inez Chapman Ray; son, Neal Embry. 

She is survived by her son, Lee Embry (Alicia); daughter, Julie McClure (Don); brother, Jimmy Ray (Pat); sisters, Tommie Dean Dillon (Cecil) and Maxine Comer; grandchildren, Sabrina Haynes (Larime), Hannah Culpepper (Clayton), Cole McClure, Clayton McClure and Chase McClure; and one great-granddaughter, Adalyn Haynes.

A celebration of life will be on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Dennis Lewellyn officiating the service. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
