Jessie Annette Craft passed away on November 2, 2021, at the age of 78.
Annette was born in Utica, MS on August 4, 1943, the daughter of Percy "Bee" Ross and Vera Ford Ross. She graduated from Utica High School and Hinds Junior College. She was employed by the Hinds County School District and Oakley Training School.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Eva Snipes, Elizabeth "Pee Wee" Ford, Marie Rather; her son Paul Champion and granddaughter Samantha Cragun.
She is survived by her spouse George Truett Craft; children Jon Anthony Craft (Maggie), Ragene Duffie , Malinda Johnson (Bubba) of Batesville, MS, Robin Necaise (David), Ricky McCann, Forrest McCann and Rhea Estes (Larry); siblings David "Sonny" Wilson, Flora Belle "Sissy" Breaux ( Preston) and Larry "Bee" Ross (Janie); 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021, with Rev. Brad Hartzog officiating the service. Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home of Utica, MS. Burial will follow in Utica Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Craft, Matthew Craft, Adam Craft, Paul Junior Craft and Scott Dooley.
