Jimmy Wayne Gayle

Jimmy Wayne Gayle passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023. He was 66 years old. He was born in Vicksburg, MS on March 3, 1957. He was crafty and had a very creative mind. He would build anything out of scrap metal by welding it together. He liked animals and planting in his garden. He would always have either a fishpond or an aquarium. He will be greatly missed. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy Hagaman Gayle and Doris Irene Williams.

He is survived by his son, Bo Gayle; daughter, Jennifer Lusby (Jimbo); sister, Anita Sue Lumbley (Ken); grandchildren, Falyn Lusby, McKinley Gayle, Taryn Lusby and Madisyn Gayle; nephew, Jeremy Herring (Tracie) and niece, Madison Lumbley.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Herring, Jimbo Lusby, Maurice Gilmore, Joel Brown, Stewart Dixon and Ken Lumbley. Honorary pallbearers will be Chance Rebert and Michael Dunn. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Glenwood Funeral Home. Rev. Roger Cresswell will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m until the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
