JoAnn Heigle Simmons

JoAnn Heigle Simmons passed away on September 4, 2024, at her home. She was 79.

JoAnn was born on February 2, 1945, the daughter of William Thomas Ballard and Leola Cole Ballard.  She served as Issaquena County Tax Assessor for over 20 years.  She loved her children and grandchildren and was loved by all.

She was preceded in death by her sons Steven Lee Heigle and Roger Keith Heigle, daughter Misty LeaAnn Heigle and grandson Steven Keith Heigle.  

She is survived by her daughter Konny Heigle of Mayersville, son Brad Heigle (Jerri Beth) of Glen Allan, grandchildren Jacob Boyd (Aimee), Caleb Joiner (Brooke), Weston Joiner (Chelsea), Cole Heigle (Anna), Caitlyn Heigle, Logan Heigle, John Haydon and Lillie Beth Heigle and great-grandchildren Madison Heigle, Ty Heigle and Emerson Lee Joiner. 

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at County Line Cemetery in Glen Allan, MS.
