ANGUILLA—Graveside services for Joe Wallace Perkins, 77, of Anguilla, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 10 at Golden Link Cemetery in Anguilla, with the Rev. Frank Newell officiating. Mr. Perkins passed away December 7, 2022, at his home. Born April 15, 1945, he was a lifelong resident of Anguilla and attended Anguilla High School. J.W. was a trusted agricultural mechanic who worked for more than 30 years at the John Deere dealership in Rolling Fork. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Lucy Dell Perkins, and his sister, Molly Dew. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia; three sons, Jody Perkins of Nitta Yuma, Morgan Perkins (Carmen) of Mooreville and Jake Perkins (Stephanie) of Anguilla; sister, Gale Rivers of Flora; eight grandchildren, Jasper Perkins, Jessie Perkins, Joe Paul Perkins, Shelby Miller, Josie Myers, Abby McKay (Rush), Sarah Grace Perkins and Lucy Perkins; daughter-in-law, Natalie Perkins; and one great-grandson, Scout McKay. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, December 9, at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork. Pallbearers are Bob Hodnett, Rad Stigall, Steven Cooper, Trey Perry, Morgan Perkins, John Dew, Darrell Dew and Tylor Bruce. Honorary pallbearers are his grandsons, Rufus Barnette, John Raines, Susan Caselli, Mike Etheridge, Justin Griffin, Ken Hendrix and the employees of AgUP in Rolling Fork
