John Heggins Obituary
John M. Heggins passed away at Greenwood Leflore County Hospital on August 7, 2020. He was 74 years old.
John was a long-time resident of Greenwood, Mississippi. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Greenwood, Mississippi. He was retired from Waterways Experiment and the Division Army Corps of Engineers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dovie Linda Heggins; his father, Lyman Wilson Heggins; and his mother, Ina Mae Heggins, and many siblings.
John is survived by two brothers, Billy Heggins of Tennessee and Albert Harrison of Leslie, Arkansas; and two sisters, Helen Henley and Ancie Greer.
Visitation will be at noon Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Glenwood Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 2:00PM in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Heggins, and Lyman Greer, Billy Joe Heggins, Michael Terry, and Mitchell Greer.
