John Birtton McPhail, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. He was 85 years old. He was born on September 7, 1939, to W.W McPhail and Rovella Lang McPhail. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, running his deer dogs, and riding the levee.
He is preceded by his wife, Betty Jean McPhail; parents; W.W McPhail and Rovella Lang McPhail; brother, Clyde McPhail.
He is survived by his sons, John B. McPhail, Jr. and Sully McPhail (Lori); grandchildren, Rachel O'Dell (Scott) and Wayne McPhail; great-grandchildren, Ally McPhail and Bryn McPhail.
