Buddy was a Vietnam veteran with service in the United States Army. After the military, he became a carpenter in Vicksburg, MS. He was an accomplished restoration expert, having restored most of the Antebellum homes in and around Vicksburg, many on the National Register of Historic Homes.
Buddy was also an avid outdoorsman, never content to be inside. He loved riding his motorcycle, hunting and playing with his pets. But his greatest joy was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He never missed a ball game, recital, birthday or any activity they were in.
Due to restrictions of COVID, there will be a remembrance ceremony at a later appointed time. The honorary pall bearer will be his nephew, David Ghrigsby, Jr.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Southern Heritage Air Foundation, 179 VTR Airport Rd, Tallulah, LA 71282.
