Johnnie Ray Byrant

Johnnie Ray Bryant passed from this life on June 15, 2020. He was 83 years old.

He was employed by R.G. Letourneau for 45 years until their closing. He was also a logger, truck driver and heavy equipment operator for many years.

He was a member of Pattison Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and always planted a big garden.

He was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Blanche Bryant; his cherished wife of 53 years, Melvie; three brothers, and three sisters.

He is survived by two sons, Tommy Ray (Pam) of Hermanville, John Elliott of Belton, TX; one brother Ed Bryant of Port Gibson; one sister Billie Prince of Vicksburg; Seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Bryant, Robbie Bryant, Jamie Bryant, Jerry Bryant, Kevin Bryant, and Ray Bryant.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Loyd, Kylee "Tyler" Wallace, and Kaylee "Itty Bit" Wallace.

Services will be at Unity Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 17, 2020from 5:00P.M. to 9:00P.M. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 18, 2020 at 11:00A.M. with visitation starting at 10:00 A.M.
