Karen Kay Ashley passed away on, September 17, 2025, at the age of 65. Kay was born in Delhi, LA on November 7, 1959, the daughter of Henry Claiburn Ashley and Eula Bell Johnson Ashley Melton.

She is preceded in death by her father and sister Chris Hicks.

She is survived by her mother Eula Melton and step-father Mickey Melton; sisters Shirley Cleveland (Tommy) and Terrie Ashley; nephews Clay Ashley (Tiffany) and Matthew Hicks and niece Kate Cleveland.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
