Karen Hasty

Karen Joyce Hasty, 67, of Vicksburg, MS passed away on July 2, 2021. She was born on February 7, 1954 in Vicksburg. Karen was married to Louis Hasty for 51 years. 
She retired from River Region Medical Center, where she was employed for 28 years in the Medical Records Department.
Karen is survived by her husband, Louis, 1 brother Butch Cummings (Patsy), 2 sons, Christopher Michael and Gregory Gene (Amanda), and daughter Brandy Flatt (Jimmy). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Austin (Kayla), Hunter (Hannah), Katlin, Gracie, Jamy, Isabella, Conner, Ava, Noah. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; Layton, Paisley, Lane, Emmylou, and Laramie. In addition, Karen is survived by 2 special bonus children, Amy Hearn (Justin, Brayden, Kyleigh) and Jaye Carroll, and many nieces and nephews.  
She was preceded in death by her father, Marion Cummings, mother Elvie Cummings, sister Constance Cummings, and brother Poncho Cummings.
Pallbearers will be Austin Hasty, Hunter Hasty, Matt Floriani, Brayden Hearn, Kenny Hasty, and Steven Hasty. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jaye Carroll, Layton Hasty, Lane Hasty, Noah Henke, Chase Wells, Chandler Bonelli, Jimmy Flatt, and David Turner.

Visitatation will be Monday, July 5, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Glenwood Funeral Home. Services will be  Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 2:00P.M. at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
