Kenny "Pop" Landers

Kenny "Pop" Landers passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 65.

Kenny was born on October 6, 1959, the son of Willard Landers and Mavis Myers Landers.  He retired from Entergy (where he loved to play Dominoes with his work buddies) after 22 years of service.  He loved anything to do with baseball and also enjoyed hunting and fishing.  His most favorite hobby was spending time with his grandchildren.  

He was preceded in death by his father and his sister Dianna Landers.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kim Landers, son Kyle Landers (Dayna), daughter Kristen Ellis (Brian), Mother Mavis Landers, sister Carol Bethany and grandchildren Savannah Skipper (McKinley), Kylan Landers, Christopher Haney, Mary Clell Allred and Easton Landers. 

A special thanks to his caregivers; Shirley Brown, Dorothy Taylor Martin, Jenise Ward, Laura Meeks, Traditions Hospice, Kim, Jana Plamer RN, Kristen Dubourg RN and Janie Williams CNA.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
