L. B. Vanlandingham

L.B. Vanlandingham passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. He was 94. 

He was born on September 30, 1926 to his parents Lee Vanlandingham and Bertha Bell Landingham. L.B. was a Veteran of the U.S Navy and served in World War II. He retired from Waterways Experiment Station.

 L.B. was preceded in death by his parents, his two sisters Doris Bogusz and Annie Mae Matherson, his brother Fred Vanlandingham, his grandchild, Angela Michelle Vanlandingham, and his extended family member Amanda Villanueva. 

He is survived by his two sons Lawrence Vanlandingham (Kathy) and Tony Vanlandingham, two daughters Carol Henry (Tom) and Roseanne Hall, best friend of 30 years, Rosie M. Brown, his twenty one grandchildren, Michael Vanlandingham, Christopher Vanlandingham, Kate Lindsey, Matthew Vanlandingham, Ashley Nicole Vanlandingham, Jessica Vanlandingham, Laura Shenesky, Joshua Buck, Tony Robinson, Jonathan Robinson, Gabriel Robinson, Sierra Vanlandinham, Emma Vanlandingham, LaDonna Gill (Terry), Brandie' Bumgart (John) and Quentin Phelps, Melanie Walker (Jonathan), Jeremy Hall, Stephanie Eyler (Tom), Shelley Coulter (Chris), and Angela Guilbert, twenty five great-grandchildren, one great, great-grandchild, and extended family members Glenn Phelps, Cynthia Phelps, and Cassie Van Benthuysen. 

A visitation will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm with a funeral service immediately following at 2:00 pm. Roger Cresswell will officiate the service.  Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Glenn Phelps, John Kleinman, Cynthia Phelps, Tomas Villanueva, Mike Vanlandingham, Chris Vanlandingham, Matthew Vanlandingham  and Caleb Lindsey.
