Lamar Dickson Scott, Jr.

Lamar Dickson Scott, Jr. passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 65.

Lamar was born in Jackson, MS on December 2, 1959, the son of Lamar Scott and Bobbie Taylor Scott.  He was a draftsman and worked in construction.  He loved flowers and enjoyed being outside working in the flowers and walking. 

He was preceded in death by his father Lamar Scott.

He is survived by his mother Bobbie Scott, sister Karen Arnold, nieces Ashley Kent (Josh) and Kacy Arnold and great-nephew Ian Arnold. 

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, in Utica Cemetery.  Rev. Brad Hartzog will officiate the service.
