Leo A. Foster passed away on April 24, 2025. He was 76.
Leo was born in Vicksburg, MS on August 18, 1948, the son of Odes Owen Foster and Mary Louise McBroom Foster. He worked for Vicksburg Chemical for 27 years. He loved MSU Bulldogs and fishing. He was a member and past President of the Optimist Club, coached Soccer and was on the Bowling League. He was an active member and Deacon of Bypass Church of Christ.
He was predeceased parents and his wife Phyllis Lee Foster.
He is survived by his son Marty May (Barbara), daughter Becky Beyea (Tim), brothers Lorenzo Foster and Albert Foster (Lesa), sister Vera Wigley, grandchildren Kami Mitchell (Ethan), Karly Daffron (Josh), Emily Rickman (Ben), Natalie Phipps (Colton) and Kennedy May, great-grandchildren Maylea Daffron and Morri Mitchell.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Bypass Church of Christ, officiated by Dr. Willie Nettle. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.
