Linda Diane Creel Raines

Linda Diane Creel Raines passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024. She was 76 years old.

Linda was born on June 26, 1948, in Hollandale, MS to her parents Woodrow Ferris Clark and Eva Evelyn Tidwell Clark. Linda lived most of her life in Grace, MS and worked for Delta Elastic Company in Rolling Fork, MS. She enjoyed quilting, traveling, singing and loved her grandchildren. She was a god-fearing woman. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband's Roy Earl Creel, Sr. and Bobby Raines, her brothers Marvin Clark and Jerry Clark a sister Janet Reeves and a daughter Sharron Marshall.

Linda is survived by her sons Roy Earl Creel, Jr. (Maria), Woodrow Alton Creel (Alisha) and Tim Raines (Sandy), daughters Malinda Faye Hill and Barbara Raines May (Marty), sisters Alice Ross (Parnell) and Birdie Muirhead, brother Jimmy Clark, son-in-love Dr. Shane Randolph Creel (Letty), special friend Diane Mullins Williams, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024, at Grace Methodist Church of Grace, Ms. with Rev. David Slaughter and Rev. Ron Gomillion officiating. Visitation Will be 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service. Burial will follow in County Line Cemetery in Glen Allan, MS.

Pallbearers will be Milton Goza, Ronnie Clark, Josh Clark, Stan Delaney, Waye Wyndham, Jason Wade and Donna Clark.
