Linda Sue Keever passed away peacefully on April 24, 2022, at the age of 81 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 19, 1940 to Joseph & Mildred Stevens. She was married to the love of her life, Charles “Bubba” Keever, for 59 years. She worked as the City Clerk in the town on Anguilla for over 35 years. Linda loved to love on people. Her hands were rarely still. She shared her love with food with her family every Sunday. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apple of her eye.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Odessia Stevens and Doris Mildred Cooper Stevens, sister Doris Cooper and brothers Pete Stevens, Billy Stevens and Harold Stevens.
She is survived by her husband Charles Keever, Jr. "Bubba", daughter Penny Howle (Danny) and son Jerry Keever (Allison), grandchildren Tanner Howle (Miranda), Taylor Barrentine (Jon) and Ainsley Keever, great-grandchildren Olivia Howle and Walker Howle, and 2 chosen grandsons Matthew Gore and Brantley Pearson. Brothers Charles Stevens (Patty), Larry Stevens, Terry Lee Stevens (Pam), Kenneth Stevens, Joey Stevens, sister Cindy McKay (Clifton).
Visitation will be from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Glenwood Funeral Home of Rolling Fork. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Anguilla officiated by Bro. Jimmy Porter. Burial will be in Golden Link Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Craig Boykin, Chip Branning, Greg Domino, Rocky Evans, Jim Magee and Russ Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be all nephews and great-nephews.
