Linden LeJeune Magruder

Linden LeJeune Magruder passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, in New Roads, LA. She was 98 years old.

Mrs. Magruder was born in Kaplan, La. on November 28, 1926. She is preceded by her husband Samuel Bertron Magruder and her parents Arthur Andre LeJeune and Maude Butler Womack.

She is survived by her sons John Arthur Magruder (Vera) and Samuel Bertron Magruder, Jr., daughters Sidoux Magruder Mitchell (Steve) and Linden Magruder Langberg (Jon), 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at St. James Episcopal Church in Port Gibson, MS with Rev. Geoffrey Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kirsten Langberg, Anneke Langberg, Laura Langberg, and Rommel Tortal.
