Marcarol Martin Rees

Marcarol Martin Rees was born on April 17th, 1965, in Greenville, MS to Bud and Audie Belle Martin. She passed in Jackson, MS on December 30th, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents Bud and Audie Belle Martin, her brother Stacie Martin, her second husband Jerry Ray. She is survived by her husband Claude Rees Jr and her brother Steve Martin. She is also survived by her children Micheal (Candy) Bryant, Jason (Heather) Bryant, Claude (Taylee) Rees III, Holly Shy, Ashley (Kim) Rees. Her grandchildern Colt Lane, Leland, Raven, Joshuah, Hadley, Brynlee, Vaughn, and Blayke. Her great-grandchildren Renezmae and Brielle. Also, her lifelong friends Della Leach, Shirley Warnock (D) and Cathy O'Neal.

She was a lifelong resident of Utica MS, and a graduate of Utica High School. She worked for Hinds Community College for 26 years. She enjoyed riding motorcyles, traveling, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Vicksburg Chapter of A.B.A.T.E. 

The family would like to thank all who have offered prayers, love, and support during this time. She will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. at Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Curtis Officiating. A visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Micah"s Mission School at 900 Crawford Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180.
