Marion Cupp Obituary

Marion G. (Buster) Cupp passed away on October 13, 2020. He was 93.

Buster was born in Alexandria, LA on October 25, 1926, the son of John F. and Bertha Ashley Cupp; he was one of fourteen children. He had lived in Vicksburg since 1942. He worked for Davis Grill from 1943-1944 and again from 1947-1953; then for A&P from 1953 until 1988. He served in WWII in the South Pacific, 7th Division, 17th Regiment, Company K. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 2572 and lifetime member of American Legion Post 3.

He is predeceased in death by his parents; and all his siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Mary L. "Tippy" Cupp; daughters Janie Ruth Hollowell (Thomas) and Mary Ann Lockhart; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 the family is holding a private service.
