Martha Jean Warnock Anderson passed away peacefully at Heritage House where she had resided for most of the past year on Monday, March 24, 2025. She was 85 years old.
Martha Jean Warnock Anderson was born July 4, 1939, in Vicksburg, MS. She graduated 12th grade at Redwood School. She attended Wilderness Baptist Church. She worked as a forklift operator at a lighting manufacturer. She is preceded in death by her husband's Claude Lee Warnock in 1998 and Jessie Anderson in 2021, a son Josh Warnock and infant child Leonard Warnock, siblings Pearl Shingler, Linda McGraw, Eleanor Terry, Tressie Webb, Johnnie Barrentine, Ronnie Barrentine, and Lester Barrentine.
Martha is survived by her son Rory Warnock (Faye), daughters Wynette Burton and Claudette Ellis (Jon), brothers James Barrentine, Terry Barrentine, and Raymond Barrentine, sister Jo Ann Jackson, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Glenwood Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation from 10:00 A.M. till the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery,
Pallbearers will be Terry Barrentine, David Brown, Breck Vines, Charles Sanders, John Beard, and Daniel Barrentine.
