Mary was born in a log cabin in Hermanville, MS on March 23, 1932. She was the wife of the late Jeff Chandler, of Hermanville MS. She and her mother were a members of DAR—Daughters of American Revolution—which is a prestigious honor. She loved her job in real-estate, and also loved working in her yard and tending to her garden. She also loved tending the garden of her faith. Mary was always ready to spread the word of the Lord to those around her. She helped clean the church every week—she adored going to church. Mary was always willing to pray, even if it was through a phone call. She would often lead her family in the blessing, and it was usually a lengthy one to make sure everyone was included. Mary was a wonderful mom and grandma. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Mary is survived by her children, Bonnie Broughton (the late Mike), Eloise Lowery (Ronald) of Jonesboro LA; her brother, David "Sonny" Wesley Daniels (the late Edra) of Natchez, MS; her grandchildren, Tim Elliott (Ammie), Deno Kokinos (Jennifer), Jeremy Brown, Jesse Broughton (April), Wes Broughton (Tiffany), Ryan Broughton (Emily), Barret Brasseaux (Suzette), Rebekah Broughton, and Amanda Young (Andrew); as well as 27 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Chandler; her parents, Wesley and Margaret Daniels; as well as her siblings, Riley Daniels and Helen Houston.
