Mary was a Christian woman who enjoyed listening to Gospel music. She enjoyed taking her children and grandchildren to Gospel music concerts featuring The Kingsmen and Oak Ridge Boys, and she enjoyed going to movies. She was a homemaker and an excellent cook! She loved making cakes for her husband, and no one can make better biscuits from scratch! She was always involved in all activities that her children were involved in. She opened her home to Foster children from the orphanage that was in Monroe, Louisiana, during the summer and Christmas breaks. One of her personality traits was to be brutally honest!
