Mary Lynn McDuff

Mary Lynn McDuff, 82, of Rolling Fork, passed peacefully at her daughter's home on Friday, September 29, 2023.

She was born in Waire, MS. on March 6, 1941, to the late John and Mary Lowery Mitchell.  Mary was married for 38 years to the late James McDuff who passed in 2006.

Mary loved her family and grandchildren dearly. She also loved her dog, Buddy Boy.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James McDuff; son, Curtis Cummins; granddaughter, Ashley Mattingly; brother, John Jr. Mitchell; and sister, Dorothy Keathley.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda (Dennis) Wall, Sandra (Rob) Gerke, and Pamela (Randy) Potts; sisters Helen, Diane, and Brenda Mitchell; Lester "Sonny" Mitchell; 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

 Visitation will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 7, at the Valley Park Baptist Church with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
