Mary J. Watson

On May 19, 2025, our mother Mary J. Watson passed away at Shady Lawn Nursing Home of natural causes.  

She is preceded in death by her husband and our father Charles O. Watson, her mother and our grandmother Mae Pearline Jordan, her father and our grandfather William Leon Jordan.

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Ruth Cox (Gary W.), sons Herman Andrew Watson (Kim) and Charles W. Watson, grandchildren Jordan Watson (Lacy), Garrett Watson (Morgan), Karlea Marie Watson and Avery Watson and great-grandchild Layla James Watson.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Glenwood Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Rev. Roger Cresswell.  Rev. J. Harris will be speaking about Mom's time at Shady Lawn Nursing Home.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rusty Fuller, Brad Pigg, Tommy Baker, Chris Watson, Jordan Watson, Garrett Watson and Jamie Greer.
