Melissa Diane Fuller-Deckard

Melissa Diane Fuller-Deckard passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 44.

Melissa was born in Vicksburg, MS on October 5, 1977, the daughter of John Fuller and Brenda Hynum Fuller.  She was a schoolteacher at AGAPE Montessori Christian Academy.  She was the world's greatest mom and wife.  Her kids were her heart and her life.  She was a very loving and giving person and loved taking care of everyone. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Sue and Herbert Hynum, John T. and Mary Ann Fuller and her mother-in-law Pearl Deckard.

She is survived by her husband Shorty Deckard; sons Hayden Deckard, Josh Deckard, Taylor Deckard, Austin Deckard and Sean Deckard; father John Fuller (Debbie); mother Brenda Shiers (Jimbo); sisters Tish Myers (Todd) and Chon Shiers; father-in-law Pat Deckard; grandchildren Adalynn, Layken, Emerson, Aubree and Payzli; best friend Jamie Jones "Byrd" and numerous nieces and nephews.  

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Elevate Church.  Robert Andrews will officiate the service.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
