Micheal Edward Ables

Micheal Edward Ables, 71, of Vicksburg, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026. He was born on July 20, 1954.

Micheal was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who cherished time spent with his family. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church and was known for his kind heart, steady presence, and love for the outdoors. Micheal especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons and grandsons, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ables; his sons, Christopher (Jenifer) Ables and Jason (Chelsea) Ables; and his beloved grandchildren, Lorali, Logan, Lawson, Olivia, Levi, and Grant. He is also survived by his mother, Nadine Ables; his sisters, Carolyn (Bill) Kinstley and Susan (Mike) Hoover; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Micheal was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Ables.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home.

Micheal will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his family finds comfort in the many cherished memories he leaves behind.
