Patrick Belden left this life to begin his heavenly journey on October 2, 2020 following an unfortunate car accident. He will be sorely missed.
Patrick Joseph was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 15, 1972, to Joe Belden and Mary Ann Vaello Belden. It did not take long to realize that he was a precocious child with distinct likes and dislikes, all of which he could defend as though he was making a closing argument in a court room. By the age of three, he spoke both English and Spanish fluently and could tell such entertaining stories in either language. A trip to his great-grandfather’s store for some candy or his grandfather’s ranch with his BB gun became such adventures to him that he could hardly wait to relay his experience with everybody with whom he came in contact. As he grew older he continued to enjoy that great zest for life. No matter where he was, whether Mexico with the Belden family, Texas with the Vaello family, California with Alex, his daughter, or Mississippi with his immediate Belden family where he lived most of his life, he had a way of living in the moment and enjoying life to the fullest extent possible. He was passionate in his beliefs and lived life on his own terms.
Patrick is preceeded in death by maternal grandparents, Gloria C. and Frank A. Vaello; paternal grandparents, Guillermo Belden and Maria De La Luz Belden; step grandmother, Bertha Belden; uncle, Frank A. Vaello, Jr; and his nephew, Kayden Belden.
He is survived by his father Joe Belden; mother, Mary Ann Belden; daughter, Katherine Alexandra Belden; sister, Candy Francisco (Mike); and two brothers Charlie Belden and David Belden.
