Obituary
Paula Rae Goss Nevels passed away Friday, May 5, 2023. She was 69 years old.
Paula worked as a nurse in Vicksburg for 15 years. She is preceded in death by her parents Harry Ray Goss and Betty Jean McBroom Rushing, and her brothers William Burl Goss and Anthony Livingston Goss. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Larry Nevels, daughters Lela Rainey (Andy) and Rachel Campbell (Jamie), sister Robin Twisdale, father Joe Dan Rushing, grandchildren Austin Kraemer, Landon Kraemer, Andrew Rainey, Mason Rainey, and Sarah Jean Rainey, great-grandchildren Delilah Bryant, Waylon Kraemer, Zeb Kraemer, and Hadlee Kraemer.
Services will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg, MS on Monday, May 8, 2023. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and the funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. with Keith Twisdale officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Austin Kraemer, Landon Kraemer, Andrew Rainey, Caid Sellers, Shawn Sellers, David Acuff, Shane Acuff, and Ryan Twisdale. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Randall and Vince Welch.
