Pearl Kavanaugh Deckard

Pearl K. Deckard passed away on  February 21, 2021 at the age of 66.

Pearl was born on April 6, 1954 the daughter of Thomas Kavanaugh and Bonnie Marsh Kavanaugh.  She was the manager of Super Jr. for 27 years and was greatly loved by the employees.  She collected wind chimes and roosters and loved her Chihuahua Baby.

She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Kavanaugh; her sisters Linda and Pat and her grandmother Louvenia Harper "Nanny".

She is survived by her husband of 51 years Pat Deckard; sons Patrick "Shorty" Deckard (Melissa) and Taylor Deckard; her mother Bonnie Cogan; brothers Thomas Kavanaugh (Sharon), Sammy Kavanaugh and David Kavanaugh; sisters Jean Jones, Diane Knox and Kathy Kowalski (Steve); grandchildren Austin, Sean, Hayden and Josh Deckard and great-grandchild Adalynn Deckard. 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Cresswell officiating the service.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of the service,  

Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Tidwell and employees and friends of Super Jr.
