Phillip M. Parker

Phillip Parker went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 29, 2021 at the age of 61. 

Phillip was born in Jackson, MS to his parents, Phillip S. Parker and Mary McGehee Sturdivant. He was a United Methodist Church minister and was also a member of the Evergreen Korean Baptist Church of Jackson, MS. They will be holding a memorial service Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 7:30 pm. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip S. Parker and two brothers. 

He is survived by his mother, Mary McGehee Sturdivant; sister, Alyssa Jackson; and friends, Jane Cotton Hanes, Richard Handcock, and Linda Cheslek.

A visitation will be held at Hawkins United Methodist Church in Vicksburg, Mississippi on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 10:30 am with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 am.

Another memorial service will be held at Evergreen Korean Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 7:30 pm.
