Ralph Boyle

William Ralph Boyle passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on June 26, 2024. He was 79.

Ralph was born in Coffeeville, MS on October 30, 1944, the son of Elisha Obidiah Boyle, Sr. and Maggie Lee Jones Boyle. He retired from R. G. LeTourneau after 47 years of service and was a part-time farmer for 15 years. He loved to be outdoors hunting and fishing. He enjoyed taking trips to his childhood home place at Airmount where he would spend time with his grandchildren teaching them to drive, hunt and fish. Bigfoot was his handle on the C.B. radio. He enjoyed spending time with his friends at the deer camp in Coffeeville hunting and running dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mary Alice Pharr, Margaret Sawner and Aline Martin and brothers Thomas Lee Boyle, Frank Allen Boyle, James J. Boyle and E. O. Boyle, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Rosie Lee Hearn Boyle, son Travis Boyle, daughters Karen Cook and Lesley Grace (Marc), grandchildren Taylor Hollowell (Morgan), Tanner Hollowell, Dalton Grace (Brittany) and Marc Grace (Corey) and great-grandchildren Tucker Hollowell, Carter and Cade Grace, Brooklyn and Mason Grace.

Visitations will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Glenwood Funeral Home and also from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, at the funeral home. The service will be officiated by Rev. Billy Brumfield. Interment will follow at his home, 10155 Hwy 61 S, Vicksburg, MS 39180.

Pallbearers will be Taylor Hollowell, Marc David Grace, Tanner Hollowell, Dalton Grace, Henry Blake and Michael Whaley. Honorary pallbearers will be Franklin Hicks, Lee Roy Robinson, Duane McClurg, Robert Lyons, Leonard Dee, Jerry Hardy, Terry Jones, Calvin Hearn and Grady Hollowell.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Whitaker, Dr. Sohal, Leslie Carr, PA, Dr. Sam Pierce, Morgan Caulfield, PA, and Fresenius Delta Dialysis Unit.
