Rita J. Donnelly

Rita J. Donnelly passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in Richmond, TX at the age of 83.  She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on February 22, 1943, but lived most of her adult life in Houston, TX.

She was in the Red Hat Society organization, she always enjoyed traveling trips with AARP, loved playing scrabble and cards with her many friends. She was also an avid Jeopardy fan and a love of line dancing.  She retired in banking as a mortgage loan processor.  

She is preceded in death by her father Robert Davis and mother Lorene Luttrell; husband, Ed Donnelly; sister, Charlotte Rose; brother, Tommy Conrad and her beloved Paris Rose (her fur baby).  

She is survived by her niece, Beth Spivey (Shawn) and nephew, Thomas Gabriel (Ann). 

Graveside services at 11:00 Friday April 17th at Greenlawn Cemetery Hwy 27, Vicksburg, MS.  Honorary Pallbearers are Wendell Rawlins, Linda Eggers, Joann Walton, Marty Feltner, Sharon Baker, Pam Clark, Del & Debbie Dockum, Hugh & Pat Logue, Frances West, Joyce Hutcherson and Kerry Yeager.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers to please plant a tree in her memory or donate to the American Cancer Society.
